The 5th Edition of Asia one awards recognizes the remarkable contribution of distinguished luminaries all over the world. Asiaone annually select some best achievers out of a lot of illustrious global performers. Their feats serve as a path to be followed by youth and admirers in India and outside!
After months of intense research conducted by Asiaone research team, names of few of the leaders have been chosen and nominated for this prestigious award which Chairman of Niti Group, Manoj Shroff was one of them. Manoj was awarded as “Person of the year award for Asia one Magazine 2017-2018” on may 2018. ENVIRONMENTAL BEST PRACTICE

At NITI group, we are committed to reducing our environmental footprint in all of our activities and to providing our customers with environmentally friendly solutions and services to help them reduce their environmental impact.
Strive to minimize our dependence on non-renewable resources; for example, by reducing energy consumption in our facilities, offering downloadable software and documentation to our customers, and distributing newsletters and other materials electronically.
Comply with environmental regulations and accepted sustainability standards in our own operations and the solutions that we offer our customers, including RoHS, WEEE, Energy Star, and many others. We produce and package our products according to the Environment concepts to reduce use of hazardous substances, power consumption, and packaging materials and increase reuse and recycling.
Work to establish a global environmental management system that enables us to establish company-wide guidelines and systematically assess our performance. NITI group is globally certified for the ISO 14001:2004 environmental management standard.
Encourage our suppliers to pursue “green” policies and comply with sustainability directives.
Educate our employees on environmentally sound practices.
Monitor our progress to promote ongoing improvement.

Policy

NITI Group will comply with all local, state, and federal laws and regulations on:

disposing of hazardous waste (including EPA’s list of prescribed industrial waste), trade waste (i.e. waste added to the sewer), and wastewater.

air pollution and carbon emissions

Procedure

NITI Group will set targets each year to increase energy and water efficiency, and seek opportunities for reducing and recycling waste. To do this, we will:

investigate ways to reduce consumption or recycle waste.
publish monthly energy and water use on the staff notice board including savings made, and report on greenhouse gas emissions.
give preference to maintenance and other contractors using green products.

Energy

buy electrical and lighting systems rated as energy efficient.
use accredited Green Power, either in part or whole.

Water

buy appliances rated as water-efficient.
buy plumbing devices with the built-in flow. restrictors in kitchen and washing up areas, or add these to existing fittings.

Waste

seek for prospects to exchange waste on the waste exchange company.

Global Approach and Practice towards Business Continuity Management

NITI group recognizes the critical role of business continuity management and has established processes, resources, and guidelines to ensure the availability of NITI group business functions and services to customers in the event of emergency.
NITI group adheres to legislation, regulatory guidelines, and codes of practice related to business continuity management, and we act in accordance with accepted standards, such as ISO 9001:2000 Business Continuity Management. We also require our key suppliers and subcontractors to define and maintain their own business continuity management plans and to make them available to NITI group for review.
We are proactive about disaster recovery and business continuity planning. NITI group’s business continuity management program helps ensure that our critical processes, including product deliveries and customer services, can recover and perform subsequent to an emergency or other disruption. The program provides for data and knowledge redundancy and includes backup and recovery processes, as well as management guidelines, in the event of an emergency.
We plan to regularly review, test, and update all facets of our business continuity management program to ensure effectiveness, with risk assessments and ongoing business impact analyses to reduce disruptions to our customers and loss to our company, partners, and other stakeholders.
We will continue to invest in our business continuity infrastructure to enhance the resiliency of our key business processes and services to our customers.
